Good for Courtney Cox for alerting her celebrity friends about her daugher's case of head lice.

Head lice is nothing to be embarrassed about or ashamed of. It's as common as the cold and catching a case is nothing short of bad luck.

Lice like clean hair as much as dirty hair. In fact, they are thankful for any hair so that they can crawl to their one and only food source - blood from the human head! They hang around in the 'kitchen' like everybody else - feeding on the scalp and laying eggs on the hair very close to the scalp where it's nice and warm.

Anyway - there is no need for the old stigma associating lice with unclean people and unsanitary living conditions.
