How amazed I was to read about the National Pediculous Assocation's WANTED poster on the CBS Super Screen in Times Square. The NPA wants to bring attention to their 4 step plan for managing head lice infestations.
Deborah Altschuler, President and Founder of the NPA, said that when it comes to protecting children from pesticides and other potentially harmful treatments for head lice, "nothing compares to the kindness of a comb."
Kudos to Ms. Altschuler and the small independant pharmacy in NYC that sells the Licemeister comb -- very similar to Lice Squad's Louse Trap available in Canada. It's great to hear some good old common sense and wisdom applied to lice removal. Manual removal using the best quality steel comb is the safest way to remove lice and their eggs. It works!
